His specific areas of expertise are gender cultures in male-dominated industries, safety cultures in high risk workplaces, women’s safety, gender‑based violence, and organisational learning and development.

He holds a PhD in cultural studies in the field of gender and a Masters in peace and conflict studies. Dean is widely published in academic journals across multiple disciplines, and also has an extensive list of publications in the media, with a significant public profile in discussing gender and safety in extractive industries and other male-dominated industries.

Morgan is a highly sought after corporate communications consultant and project manager with over fifteen years of experience across a variety of sectors including retail, extractive industries and NGOs.

He has established a strong reputation for developing and successfully implementing creative and highly engaging communications strategies within large, complex and geographically dispersed organisations for both internal and external audiences.

As a specialist communications practitioner with a degree in computer science, Morgan brings expert knowledge in the design and production of new digital media in addition to traditional print and television media.

Moh Moh has extensive experience in supervising and conducting research studies over the past ten years. Over this time she has supervised dozens of research projects, managing teams of researchers performing data collection activities across a large number of research participants. In addition, she has provided skills training to researchers, performed quality assurance for data collection activities and performed data validation and analysis functions. Moh Moh Aung is based in Yangon, Myanmar.

Zu Zu has experience working in the not‑for‑profit and NGO sectors in the areas of research, data collection, data entry and translation. She is a confident communicator and has strong computer skills. She holds a Bachelor of Business Management degree and is completing additional training in accounting and financial analysis. She has worked on quality control and data entry for the World Bank Farm Production Project and volunteered for various charity groups. Zu Zu is based in Yangon, Myanmar.

Laura is a gender‑based violence specialist with more than ten years of experience in the field. She has worked on GBV prevention and response projects all over the world including Peru, Iraq, South Sudan, Palestine, Turkey, Greece, Myanmar and Italy. Her experience includes the provision of technical support; development of technical resources; development of capacity building strategies, creating resources and initiatives for GBV and non-GBV actors; the design, implementation and supervision of prevention, risk mitigation and response programming; development of interagency strategies to reduce and mitigate the risk of GBV and SEA; and advocacy to put the needs of women and girls at the centre of the humanitarian response.

Laura holds a Master's degree in Emergencies and Humanitarian Response and a second Master's degree in International Cooperation and NGO Management.

Thiri San has robust experience working in the field of Gender Based Violence (GBV) prevention and support services. Her management experience includes strategic input into provision of GBV prevention and response services and supervision and support of GBV officers across multiple offices. As a GBV officer, Thiri San acquired extensive in-field experience with GBV case management tools and working with survivors of GBV. Thiri San is based in Yangon, Myanmar.

Working primarily in communication, project delivery, crisis management and corporate social responsibility, Sue has spent more than 15 years communicating and engaging with large and broadly diverse groups. In addition, she is an experienced trainer and has led teams of up to 50 people to deploy new technology and sales systems. Sue prides herself on her ability to effectively deliver important and complex information in order to elicit the desired outcomes and responses.

Based in the USA, Liz is a lawyer with academic qualifications in social justice and the law. She completed her studies at Santa Clara University School of Law in California and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in San Jose, Costa Rica. As an attorney at a top tier global law firm, she oversaw the litigation support department, worked on high-value intellectual property cases, and managed the pro bono practice that included domestic violence, refugee, and asylum work. She is passionate about using storytelling to highlight important social causes and legal issues. Recently, she shifted her focus and applied her skills to research and writing to have more time to spend with her first child. She is currently supporting Factive’s work for international agencies on projects in Europe and Asia.
